MY CHIAROSCURIST
He painted my empty canvass
And started to splash dull colors
Using shades of black and grey
He wanted it dark and gloomy

I wanted it vibrant and shiny
But I let him paint my canvass
For I trust him as my lovely artist
Even I know his a chiaroscurist

Now I see the rest of my world
Covered in darker shades
Like everything is black and white
And my rainbow was totally gone

But he's my beloved chiaroscurist
I wanted colors but he wanted dullness
Now I'm holding his hands with gloom
Like we're dancing in the dawn

Without the stars and moonlight
He wanted to hide from the sunlight
But I'm missing the morning dew
And the lovely colors of the rainbow

What did my chiaroscurist have done?
Why I feel dead while we dance?
He painted my world with darker shades
I can't find happiness in every edge
