A$$Hole
Yo bro, how ya doin' man.
Ain't seen you in a minute...
I was your biggest fan.
You look a lot different,
seems like time has been rough.
You seem a lot less belligerent,
You were always so tough.

Who'd a thought for a second,
we'd be alive this long.
We took it to the limit just
like that famous Eagles song.
But like a bridge over troubled
water, that soon was washed away.
You said you'd always be there...
But you blew up that day.

Well hey! What can I say. All of us
struggle to keep our demons at bay.
Oh what tangled webs we weave
when we practice to deceive.
It really don't pay, to wear your
heart on your sleeve...
What do you believe you
can achieve today?

I used to look up to the fact you
were solid in the way you viewed
the world.
I choosed to follow you through
the muck even when sticks and
stones were hurled.
You became so hollow, when you fell
into that pothole that swallowed you
whole, and turned you into an asshole.
What I thought wasn't possible, became
more than fukkin' probable.
It's alright, I still love you though.
I just couldn't hang around to watch you fall.

Popularity becomes real ugly
when you forget just who you are.
Comparing your arrogant ego to me...
Is like capturing air in a jar.
It's like glaring at the brightest star.
A single person in a couple's bar.
Airing dirty laundry for everybody
to see just makes you more creepy than
you really are.

Love the gown, the hat and the tassel.
I see you graduated to becoming an asshole.

You know... When you shook my hand?
I thought you were in it to win it,
I thought that you were the man!
Time can make us different,
Always fighting, fist ta cuffs.
I guess I haven't considered the
fact you could never get enough.

I saw through the wreckage of
a boy that was done wrong.
I always had your back just
like Cheech has Tommy Chong.
I gave over and over and all you
did was take away.
I watched the game take over...
As it led you astray.

But Hey! Yay or nay. None of us listen
to what the angels have to say.
Why carelessly gamble on the
ramblings of a madman.
A house that's in shambles just
attracts more big government.
There's just no guarantee on
the seeds of today.

I see you took up the act of calling
yourself the best thats been born
to this world.
If only you could attract a real woman,
and not just devas that act like girls.
You became so shallow, when you swelled
up like a jellyroll, a roll that makes you
comfortable when you turned into an asshole.
You got caught up in an actors roll,
a plot that makes you lose your soul.
Goodnight dog. I gotta go.
I'd love to catch up more but, well... You know.

Your disparity became real apparent to
me that you forget just who you are.
Comparing success with everyone else
is like shopping with a blank credit card.
It's like taking a test that's just too hard.
Wanna be a fighter but you end up a bard.
Baring your dairy-aire for everyone
to see just makes you even more bizarre.

Love the gown, the hat and the tassel.
I see you graduated to becoming an asshole.
