Fainted Breaths: Life Or Death
I've been conjuring words,
Giving them life, giving them existence.
Yet, through them I diminish onto pages,
Because my identity now lives in Books,
While what I've unearthed covers me.
I've learned to hold my tongue
When describing myself.
Grasping the dire consequences
Of uttering spells, these letters grouped
To usher my demise,
For the brain does not recognise lie,
Therefore silence guards the heart,
And careful articulation of the mind
Restores my life.

For life & death
Lies in the powerful of the tongue,
Shall I eat its fruits,
Or fall victim to its poison.
