In my bucket list, I've checked off one by one,
Said "I love you" to my loved ones, seen the rising sun.
I've witnessed the birth of the next two generations,
And felt the pain of loss, endured the heart's sensations.

I've never sought revenge, for it's not my place,
My God has taught me kindness, forgiveness, grace.
I've lived my life with honor, done the best I could,
No blame, no regrets, I've done it My Way, understood.

If today I close my eyes and never wake again,
I'll leave this world in peace, free from all pain.
For I've lived a life of purpose, love, and light,
In my own words, in my own way, I've lived it right.
