Haunting Dreams
Now my sleep will not let me rest too,
These haunting dreams leave me feeling blue,
I wake up feeling all anxious and sweaty,
As if all life is sucked out of my mind and body.
Sometimes it’s a girl and blood all around ,
Sometimes it’s something about my loved ones I haven’t found,
Sometimes it is about just me going on and around in circles,
But every time I get up with a thud and feeling hurtful.
These past few weeks have been exhausting in my head,
Been feeling stuck and can’t get out of bed,
I just need sleep to be my escape again,
Cause Reality is only bringing me pain.
