I don't wanna wake up
I don't wanna face the day
In fact, I wish that everything could just
Go away

I don't wanna get dressed
Or shower
Or clean
I wanna lay in bed
No care in the world
And sleep
And have sweet dreams

But inevitably it'll get worse
My room will turn into a disaster zone
My sleep schedule will become cursed

So I'll have to get up
These grades won't get better while laying down
I'll just have to suck it up
Hold back that frown

I don't wanna wake up
I don't wanna stay awake
I don't wanna sleep either
So I guess I have no other choices to make

Both are horrible
I wish there was a medium I could use
No sleeping
No being awake
But then there would be countless things I'll lose

Like friends will ignore me
And family will give up on me
And even my pillows won't want to face me
They'd be so exhausted being used all the time
And in their eyes, they don't recieve a dime

So I have to get up
For the sake of everyone else
Even if my own life, in my own opinion
Has already gone to hell
