I met a girl, she was smiling
as if it's the happiest day for her.
She gave out a breeze of joy
but yeah, something did seem blur.

I didn't know what's up with her
but she was always in her high,
"Hey, wanna be my friend?"
I had said out straight, with a sigh.

She said yes, "why not bro"
and we were off to a wierd start
Well, I don't really have social skills
but here I sure did my part.

She cheered me up subconsciously
and never really let me fall.
Woah, what do you know!?
we became good friends, afterall!

Filled with laughing emojis everywhere,
our chats had quite some scoffs.
It seemed she had no worries
and yet I felt something was off.

And one night she did open up
I felt what she had been
going through, from the very start.
She's the strongest person I've seen.

And although she doubted I'd not
see her the same way anymore
I told her it'll be alright,
and I ain't leaving, feel secure.

But she had been haunted long ago
and the ghosts were never gone.
Yet, leaving that little scar of ours
me and sis did carry on.

She still laughs in her highs and lows
and is always positive everywhere.
We do have a chat everyday,
filled with emotions, here and there.

Don't worry, the wound shall heal
with time, even if it's deep.
Now that we're in this chasm,
let us together take a leap.

You may not have a great past
but the future will be second to none
You may not be blessed that much,
but dude...
you're a blessing, for everyone ✨
