MEMORIES
#WritcoPoemPrompt49
The days of slate and chalk,
Are not easy to erase,
They hold memories,
Of my childhood,
When I used to walk
With small steps
Holding the slate
Thinking what to write.
The hours of toys and games,
Are not easy to erase,
They are broken now,
But still my favourite,
When I used to play
Talk to them
With broken words
I learnt from slate.
The minutes of crying,
Are not easy to erase,
When my mom,
Used to beat me,
Running and playing
The whole day
Finding me
With a stick on her hand.
The seconds of joy,
Are not easy to erase,
With small-sized teeth,
Trying to speak,
Smiling ang giggling
With my mom
They hold memories
Of my childhood.
