The shadow that answered.
Days and years passed by so quick,
Time flies so fast, did it ever click?
Or its merely a distraction/foul trick?
All this time, I looked for just a mate,
All came & rushed ahead, none did wait
With flying time, they too were getting late
I took time to express what I feel,
Afterall some traumas didn't heal
To rise back normal, I lacked zeal
Nobody understood what's in the mind,
None dared to explore thoughts behind
Failed attempts, I let go all & they resigned
One day I looked in the mirror & cried
The shadow stared back with eyes wide
And I smiled, getting back one I lost inside.
