A Life Never Seen
She belongs in Heaven. Sent from up high. Why is she here? Only The Lord knows the reason why. Gazing upon her face, can't help but to stare. Invading the child inside that does not care to share. The mother she was given, the father him as well. Forever hasn't the slightest she's been taught not of Hell. Heaven above gives us a wonderous Woman. An Angel is her soul. I may not be near, nor do I have the pleasure. What she gives, always leaves behind a feather. A hint of who she is, alas I was not the one. But, why do I see her at all? I too bask in the heat of this Sun. Tell me it was me, that was supposed to be the blessed one. Or was it Hell who denied me, I see I wasn't the best. For this game of life we are cursed to play forever and a day, surely you jest. To take what is not yours my heart couldn't portray. So a thief has what's mine. A heart meant for me. A Soul I am never to see.
