My depression is a shape shifter,
one day it's as small as a firefly next to a bear,
the next,
it's the bear.

On those days I play dead untill the bear looses grip on my mind.

Anxiety holds me a hostage,
inside of my house,
inside of my head.

However,
I will win this fight.

No longer will I be a hostage to my mind,
my body,
my house and my home.
