the light i once forgot to turn off
is now shining on my pathetic self
the home i once loved
is now another picture on the dirty shelf

the picture is still nice and clean
i clean the picture not the shelf
still hate it to be seen
as a memory in it self

please take me back to this home
when i'd wake up to people laughing out of joy
that's the only loan
that can fix this broken toy
that's me.
