Ill admit it, sometimes I stay quiet to avoid having the conversation where you tell me you can no longer do this. So to avoid defeat, I say “its all good”. But Id rather you tell me that we’re in this for eternity.
Instead, I get a man whose frontal lobe still isnt fully developed. So he occupies his time with me by letting time go by with me. U buy me flowers, hang out and take me on dates, just to.. just to say you arent in a position to give me more right now. But - “eventually” you say. And instead of me getting mad and throwing a tantrum, Ill say its cool. U know, to avoid having that conversation where you tell me you cant do this right now. So yea, its cool. But deep down its not because… everything has an expiration date. And I’m thinking about 100 diff ways I could disconsolate.
