Oh Lord, be my strength, hear my prayer
And give me water, for I'm thirsty after a huge battle
I've been threatened, Lord, hear my prayer
It's time to fight, but I don't have to lose my way
I'm not seeking power or wealth, but Your strength and wisdom
I want to symbolize wisdom and meet freedom in Your kingdom
Cover me with Your wings, Lord, as the winds come
Protect me, for my heart bleeds, but also sings
Oh Lord, hear my prayer, and give me the courage to sway
Like a lion, brave and strong, like Samson in his way
I'm not a stranger to You, Lord, and I desire to eat
From the abundance of Your strength, that I may be complete
