The Intimate Foe.
When your mind tells you all the wrong things,
And convinces you that it is right!
You either give in to it's strange commands,
Or pick up the toughest fight!
You fight for yourself!
Against a part of you!
Which is not the one you know,
But its there within your own trashbin,
Which is putting up another show!
And there it is invisible on a stage,
Whispering what to do or say,
And then when it is done ,it watches the fun!
Before vanishing away!
It takes no responsibility, for what it said,
For the things that you have done!
It will not stop, but come again!
Since he knows that he has won!
What can you do to win that victory?
That you had wanted to win!
When you went ahead to follow your life,
Before committing another sin,
Before your drift,
Please change and shift,
To the person you really are!
It is just a line you don't need to cross,
Just a choice of near and far!
