lately you've been talking to me
and you have so much to say
the conversation is not so clear
not to me anyway
the both of us have problems
which can be easily worked out
but for me at least the questions asked
you know I have my doubts
you know first hand my story
and know what is the truth
you know from past experiences
what is we both have to lose
I come with a lot of baggage
of some I wish to lose
you know it's your idea in this
but it's me you wish to choose
you know I don't like this writing
this kind is just not me
you've had a friend that we both
which badly had to end
this way I'll sum it up to
I know you really care
the truth is that you should know
of that I am scared
I've in love before mostly by myself
the one I loved ripped me apart
and the pain still hurts today
you know our situations are similar
in most ways that's why your asking
scares me to death
and I'm scared to trust anyone
that way again.
