Suicidal thoughts that's been on my mind
I'm still in the game and after the grind
depressed & tortured by thoughts of the past
wishing for once that this misery wouldn't last.
There would be days I would struggle inside
fighting these thoughts of death and suicide
my body would break when I'm in distress
but I woke up this morning highly favored & blessed.
Fighting for my life though I'm tired and weak
again & again with these tears down my cheek
I'm still in the race, just trying to win
though it's a struggle with so much anger within.
Tortured everyday by the things that I saw
with so much abuse, they were breaking the law
I'm fighting for my life and also my dreams
though I overcame every valley and stream.
