When I feel so alone,
it is mostly because I cannot venture home.
Miss you more than you will ever know,
bit this is time for mommy to grow.
I have to change everything,
especially my way of thinking.
I have been gone so long
I know you must be wondering what is wrong.
My baby boy, I am doing this for you.
I am so sorry for what your dad and I put you through.
Right now, you are too young to see,
what is really going on sweetie.
That in it of itself
is more powerful than wealth,
because it gives you a fighting chance.
I knew how amazing you are, at first glance.
As quickly as you are growing up,
I can see you are going to be tough.
Although that is great
there is a softer side of you, and to that I can relate,
because that is what you get from me.
One day, I will show you how beautiful life can be.
You have a magnificent soul.
Mommy will do everything she can to keep yours whole.
