While I carry the knife,

While you are dying,

You die,
I cry.

You look at me,
I cry.

Wide eyes open,
I cry.

No life in them,
I cry.

You are dead,
No more crying.

Blood on my body,
No more crying.

I spit,
No more crying.

I dress,
No more crying.

I walk,
No more crying.

Towards the door,
No more crying.

I turn the doorknob,
No more crying.

I step out,
No more crying.

I walk more,
No more crying.

I come out of your house,
No more crying.

I pause and think,
No more crying.

I will soon die,
No more crying.

I look at the sky,
No more crying.

It is bright,
No more crying.

I will soon die,
So I cry.
