I heard the low drone of an airplane today
I looked up, excited to see the sky wonder
Oh but alas! No matter how much I squinted, I couldn't make out even a wing
So overcast was the sky, the clouds almost seemed like a warm fuzzy blanket
Fuzzy or not I so wanted to see that plane
Then a thought struck me, of course I am beneath the clouds!
I cannot see the majestic craft, for its riding above the clouds
I know it flies but those up there always speak of bumps so I bet that wicked plane is riding on the clouds
Well I'm gonna join that plane
So long I've wanted to fly
But those clouds were always in the way
Yeah so long I've wanted to reach for my dreams
But so many obstacles were looming over me
Well now I worry no more
Come on, put your pilot cap on
Let's ride above the clouds!
