The more you want a reply from a person, the more they'll keep silent. Write a poem about it.
When I finally decide to talk,
and unburden myself to you,
you give me that face
that tells me not to trust you.
You don't respond to what I said,
and your eyes they wonder away,
you look uncomfortable,
like your emotions are on display
I get that I put you on the spot,
and that you're not sure as how to react,
but by keeping quite, you're implying,
that my words didn't have an impact.
I want to know that you heard me,
and after I'm vulnerable, and I tell,
I want a response from you,
One that will be reassuring that you heard me well.
So please when I talk to you,
and when I show some vulnerability,
your answer should be full,
so that it doesn't leave me hanging.
