Peace is not a bargain
Would the world become a better place if we could get all of our wishes?
Because I've given everything and was still misunderstood. I have open doors and still find them shut behind me, and for those I broke every rule left me absent clue.
In silence, thoughts were harnessed and in the discerning of mind, every word has become a new world.
My presence has become a mystery because I now pay attention to history. After all, ignorance has brought me untold misery.
The heart will love again but this time I will choose the price to pay because my peace is not a bargain.
