Time is medicine they say,
But how can time be a medicine,
Time is time.
With time your wound will heal and you'll be fine they say,
But to me,it's like a dream that will never come to pass.
Trust the healing process they say,
But here I am, yearning for time to mend me.
Though some may find peace in time’s healing embrace,
For me, time’s just a thief, a cruel and an unforgiving face.
Time is a thief,a plunderer of what was dear,
A hand that is cold,yet leaves my soul in fear,
In fear of the mess it (time) will create for me.
