Rulers of the sky, with power and might
Their kingdom stretches beyond our sight
Principalities and wickedness they hold
In high places, their schemes unfold
They sit on thrones, adorned with gold
Their rule unquestioned, their story untold
With mighty armies, they conquer and reign
Their subjects kneeling, in fear and pain
But who are these rulers, so high and mighty?
What drives their hunger, for control and supremacy?
A thirst for power, a hunger for greed
Their hearts tainted, by wicked deeds
They speak of justice, yet their scales are tipped
For their own gain, the innocent are ripped
They call themselves the powers that be
But truly, they are the powers that bleed
Their kingdom built on lies and deceit
They crush the weak, beneath their feet
But little do they know, their power is frail
For truth and goodness, can never fail
Though they may sit, on thrones of gold
Their legacy, will soon unfold
For the people will rise, against their rule
And justice will prevail, as they are overthrown like a fool
Rulers of the sky, your time will come
Your wickedness, will be undone
For true power lies, not in wealth and might
But in love and compassion, shining bright
So let us rise, against these rulers of the sky
And bring an end, to their reign of lie
For we are the true power, in this land
And together, we will make a stand.
