Disastrous is the life I live,
by the fear of faith and death,
This believe that christ lives,
that when we encounter I sense kinship,
the mutual feelings of love.
Doth jehovah forgive sins through Him?
for my source of streams are evil;
'living by Greed,
full of wrath,
full of pride
envious 'n slothful,
a gluttony 'n lustrous.
Deep I am in this cruelty,
Tender 'n mercy subject to purity,
Christ our perpetual mutual sacrifice,
lamb of God 'n saviour to mankind
Through him doth away with sins.
He that's lost doth seekthy Maker,
to exact purity of the waters of heaven.
Wonder not if Euphrates 'n Gihon or Hiddekel waters it.
The voice I heard saith trust unto thee,
and call in day of trouble 'n I will deliver you.
