The King Is Coming

I'm here waiting for that trumpet to sound
It could happen any day
In the twinkling of an eye, we'll change
We'll be Heaven bound to stay!

I just gaze up and I'm in awe
That Jesus will be coming in the clouds for me
This is promised in the word of God
Then I'll spend with Him, eternity!

Alot of people won't be prepared
To meet Jesus in the sky
Some think it's just a fairy tale
They're convinced it's only a lie!

The great tribulation will follow once we're gone
And it will be like nothing thats been here before
Pain, heartache and many tragedies
The book of Revelations tells what's in store!

I'm glad that I gave Jesus my heart
I don't have to worry about being left behind
This day is approaching faster than we think
If we look we'll see the signs!

The ways of this world can't last much longer
It's not how God wanted it to be
He created two people to be happy together
But they ate of that forbidden tree!

God doesn't force Himself on anyone
Because we've been all given a free will
But if your heart truly longs for Him
You only need to be still!

Be still and know what He's telling you
Because God will never lead you astray
He just wants you to offer Him your heart
So you can dwell with Him, everyday!
