The Joke's on Luthor: Are You There?

LET'S HAVE A LITTLE TALK ...

🦄

Readers:
Hi! Enjoy this Brief conversation between Joker and Luthor about God, and the purported Meaning of Existence.

Joker:
There's an ongoing Stigma in the World. That we need Religion to hold the Fabric of Society together. Like Glue.

Luthor:
I concede.

Joker:
To the Notion?

Luthor:
To the Stigma. That somehow we have been duped to believe that control is the only way to survive in this world. That somehow, mankind cannot find his way, individually anymore, to self-sustain himself without destroying himself.

Joker:
Yeah, yeah. And too, that a Higher Deity must be Created, and maintained governing the thoughts and ideas permeating the 'Neanderthal' minds of us, the simple man?

Luthor:
Exactly. When I was a boy, maybe 7, 8ish, my father told me two things.
Religion is the doctrine that binds the soul and two, I can live by the Bible, or be beaten by his fists.
I chose the latter.
I never conceded that to exist in a world based entirely on the unexpected, that it was EVER governed by the Expected. It just doesn't happen in Nature.

Joker:
So you capitulate to Chaos Theory, that disorder is the only order to Existence.

Luthor:
Not at all, I capitulate to nothing. What I'm saying instead is that Nature finds new and incredible ways to break its very OWN laws, if we contend them; and therefore who's to say there IS any control regulating anything.

Joker:
True. It's the X-Factor once again. That the only way to explain what will happen is at the present explaining what has happened after it happens. You can see and build a case on nothing as long as enough people believe in something.

Luthor:
That's the quandary, yes.

Joker:
So then, this 'god' would have to be chosen by those in control to rule over the 'controlled?'

Luthor:
In Theory, yes. And this god must be synchronized to their belief system. That system being laid upon the populace until it gets to the point of acceptance. Once that happens, this 'godhead' becomes 'their' God.

Joker:
I see. So the point of this experiment would be to remove the onus of what may or may not happen upon the general populace from the controllers, who are physically responsible, to a supposed deity who cannot be sentenced or punished, because it does not exist ... at least in the physical sense?

Luthor:
That's the Conundrum. And to break free of this, unfortunately, we'd have to tear down the entirety of the systematic grid. Those things set in place to blind us of the truth.

Joker:
Which is?

Luthor:
There is no one in control. When we die, whether we win or lose, matters not. It really is how we play the game.

Joker:
So then Anarchy becomes the rich man's Providence.

Luthor:
Not at all. Instead, I suppose we ALL take a measure of control of our own lives. And let survival of the fitest become the Rule of Law.

Joker:
But that's what Anarchy is, isn't it? And, hey wait, you stated another system of Control!?

Luthor:
My friend, too ... it's just the Nature of the Beast.

Joker:
So true ...
