Autumn
The sun, a painter, dips in gold,
Across the sky, a story told.
Of summer's warmth, a fading gleam,
Replaced by crisp, autumnal dream.
The leaves, once vibrant, green and bright,
Now blush in hues of red and light.
From ochre yellows, russet brown,
They flutter down, and softly crown
The earth in carpets, rich and deep,
Where slumbering seeds their secrets keep.
A gentle breeze,...
Across the sky, a story told.
Of summer's warmth, a fading gleam,
Replaced by crisp, autumnal dream.
The leaves, once vibrant, green and bright,
Now blush in hues of red and light.
From ochre yellows, russet brown,
They flutter down, and softly crown
The earth in carpets, rich and deep,
Where slumbering seeds their secrets keep.
