A father figure, strong and true
I wonder if you think of me, your child
Or if I'm just a memory, lost in the wild

I've imagined your face a million times
Wondering if your eyes are like mine
Do you know that I exist, that I'm here
Or am I just a distant thought, unclear

But in my heart, the hope still remains
That one day we'll break free from these chains
And in my dreams, you'll come to me
A father's love, finally set free

So I'll keep holding on to this dream
That one day, you'll appear, it seems
And the little kid inside me will finally see
