Letting Go And Holding On
My thoughts are dark
and deeply rooted,
hiding deep beneath
the surface,
taking shelter in the cold
of my soul with things
I can't let go.
You'll find tombstones of the past
I tried to bury in these catacombs
of gloom and doom.
But I keep coming back to look at
the past, like visiting Graves of
loved ones, you just can't let go
of the pain that hurt you the most.
