In realms of old, where myths unfold,
Legends whisper secrets, yet untold.
Gods and goddesses, with powers grand,
Shaped the world, with their mighty hand.
Dragons roared, with fiery breaths,
Unicorns pranced, with steps of death.
Mermaids sang, with siren's call,
Luring sailors, to their fatal fall.
Heroes rose, with hearts of gold,
Quests undertaken, stories told.
Perseus slew, the snake-haired Medusa's might,
Orpheus charmed the darkness of night.
Athena's wisdom guided mortal men,
Poseidon's wrath shook the earth again.
Zeus' lightning bolts, lit up the sky,
As myths and legends, passed us by.
In these tales, of old, we find,
Echoes of truth intertwined.
For in the stories, of gods and mortals too,
Lies the essence, of all we do.
