The Plague

Just after a gentle shower you see a rainbow,
While going through the woods in cavorting auras,
The birds are all so friendly wherever you go,
In every tree they sing you a chorus,
That echoes through quiet woods.

Humming along as you skip joyfully,
Ever so lightly your voice blends in,
Producing the best melody you have ever heard,
'Oh, how I wish the time would stop in this moment, '
'Or I could record this moment, '

'Just a bit longer will I cherish this serenity, '
'And alas, this scenes juggles my memory, '
'Of the good old days of childhood, '
'when the family was still whole and complete. '

'Happily running around the woods, '
'with the sounds of laughter never stopping, '
'we were close knitted, '
'until the evil plague of death seperated us, '

'And killed the joy in the family and made the
woods void of life, '
'But may be things are starting to change, fir the better of course. '
