The Drunken Traveler
I am drunken with wine
I am the Drunken Traveler
I go around the world in search of good wine
Traveling the world for good food
My pleasures are wine and food
No man can live without food
A little wine in the stomach won't hurt
I drink to forget the past
I eat to fill my stomach
And running away from the shackles of love
Who knew that love cannot be escaped
Love can happen at first sight and last a lifetime
One night,
Under a full grown moon
The delights of the night singing to it
I saw a beauty
She wore clothes that covered her as a gown
Her clothes, red as roses
She had lips as pink as cherry
Her face as pale as snow
The hairs on her head had a semblance to the night
Her shoes, a matching pair with her clothes
She was clothed with beauty from the unknown
Such a beauty, only seen under a full moon
The goddess in my dream has come to life.
