I Clocked in today,
realizing it was the 31st of December,
I was in a perpetual situation, whether to work on New Year's Eve to earn an incentive to gain an extra penny or miss it to enjoy my evening.
In the hustle and bustle of life,
I didn't realize when money becomes more important than time,
What I hate the most is the source of my life,
With all the worries and Harry's of my life,
I leave behind the hurricanes of lies,
Every year, I make resolutions to thrive,
I became the same old me every time.......
Perhaps it was about living life with all worries and happiness balancing on a scale called life.
