A grandmother is a special creation,
true and pure to all nation
They raised our darling mother's,
and gave hope to men to become father's
They make their grandchildren wish they were born earlier,
because a day spent with them is more merrier.
Their sweet tasty cookies,
baked with their old sweet hands, would make anyone a foody
The old interesting tales they tell,
would make you wish you were there
The way they caress your cheeks,
and give you a gentle loving kiss,
would make you wish, the day never ends,
because a day without them, would make your heart melt.
How I wish mine was alive,
how I wish I spent every day and night,
beside her, listening, and pouring my heart out
Even though I knew her less,
even though I wasn't always there,
but a day I spent with her, made me feel blessed.
So lets all appreciate our grandmother's,
cause they are, the only true builders
They might not be there with us forever,
but the memories they carved in us,
is an assurance that they are always there, no matter what.
