To Bask In Peace
Fears and frustrations that hold sway,
I focus not on them to keep them at bay,
Negativities and noise I forsake them today,
For I put peace on priority and pray.
I prefer to bask in the heart's expanse,
For tranquillity I prefer to enhance,
Not to just swirl and dance,
To the tunes of the notorious mind even by chance.
I choose to be aware within of the peaceful state,
To stay at peace at any rate,
To be away of the din that the mind creates,
To stay put in peace unswervingly I wait.
