Parodox and irony
Society promotes being YOU
But tells you to be their standard of normal


Girls wear pink and ought to play dolls
Boys wear blue and don't cry
You do the contrary, you're branded as an abomination
And be ridiculed for being different


"Depression isn't real"
Until you see that person hanging on a noose
Or bathing with their own blood
Pale as ghost haunting your conscience


"Panic attack?
You're just being overly dramatic
Everyone is getting stressed
What is so special about you?"


"Schizophrenics are just crazy people
Pay them no mind
They just have to accept reality
Instead of running away from it"


"OCD are just damn perfectionist
Eccentric people who likes to clean
And arrange everything but not their life
They will stop once they are tired"


People have feelings, you said
They are not robots
But you told them what to be
Programmed their minds to be the same as you


If they go outside your understanding of normalcy
You labelled them weirdos, crazies or lunatics
But who wouldn't go crazy if you
Caged them in your own ideology
Unable to express themselves


You said you were against any toxic attitude
But try looking in the mirror for once
Can't you see your own poison slipping out
Slowly killing those who get close to you


Everyone is not the same as you
And you are not the same as everyone
If you really understand that
Then please try to open your mind
Instead thriving in negativity
And unconsciously harming your fellow
