In this church that many hold dear,
The village people from far and near
Race forth at morning dawn,
To revere the King Almighty God.
It is not their mortal bodies but the spirit
That hungers forth to seek a spirituality clear,
To become worthy of heaven above;
To become worthy of a kingdom forever rare.
