I've heard about strong friendships before
that they always turn into something more
something unimaginative that takes away your interest in sleep
a bond so deep
no one can ever understand.

We have moments that make me believe
we could be that
when you accidentally touch my hand
and your eyes meet my wide eyed gaze
as if fate is telling us something like it had this planned
I start to wonder "could it be you"
maybe it's all in my head unless you feel it too!

I've heard what people call magic
turn into something tragic
and they redefine love as something else
But that could never be us
coz we have the highest level of trust

My heart instantly melts
when I see you and it's never just happy or sad it's both that's how I know it's true

Our friendship is beautiful
but something has me wanting more

would it be so wrong to explore

Whenever you try to cheer me up
