I get so frustrated that I cry
because what else can I do
when I’m denied my everything
my love
my heart
that is you

because the night that was perfect
quickly turns sour
when I’m told it was wrong
it was bad
it was no good

now I’m punished-
my time with you is doxed
and it shatters my fragile heart
not only because I’m barred from my own heart
but because I realize that if anyone wanted to
absolutely and utterly destroy me
they only have to turn to you
for you are my heart

and it’s terrifying for me to recognize
that I once was stone cold and couldn’t be moved
with simple words or control
but now that I have you
I have strings that can be pulled
and I fear that these strings
will end up being tied into my noose

because of you my love
my heart
my soul
I have everything to fear
because I have you to loose
