170:4.14 This world has never seriously or sincerely or honestly tried out these dynamic ideas and divine ideals of Jesus’ doctrine of the kingdom of heaven. But you should not become discouraged by the apparently slow progress of the kingdom idea on Urantia. Remember that the order of progressive evolution is subjected to sudden and unexpected periodical changes in both the material and the spiritual worlds. The bestowal of Jesus as an incarnated Son was just such a strange and unexpected event in the spiritual life of the world. Neither make the fatal mistake, in looking for the age manifestation of the kingdom, of failing to effect its establishment within your own souls.
Progressing
What to do on this fine day?
The weekends here, it’s Saturday.
Parades and such, a holiday.
We celebrate Memorial Day.

All those folks who went before.
They taught us things we can’t ignore.
We’re riding on the crest of knowledge.
If all were lost, how would we forage?

To start over once again?
Some things you just can’t re-begin.
Slowly, slowly, forward progress.
Is stagnation there within our Congress?

I pray God does direct these men.
We need God’s help and we depend
Upon His Will upon this earth.
Loves the answer, His rule comes first.

Doesn’t mean there won’t be stress.
I see it coming, our weakness.
But we’ll get through this major hurdle.
Keep Love in mind, we are just mortal.

God loves us all, yet all are human.
We make mistakes and we get stubborn.
We need a stimulus to think.
Without that we just drift and stink.

Thank you, Father, I do trust
Your Love someday will be robust.
This world’s on a path to change.
Evolving may seem against the grain.
