New year, new me
It's what we always say
Half the time nothing changes
Things will change
But a lot will stay the same
I'm going to learn to stand up for myself
Going to change how I eat
Help save money
Do more around the house
I'll change how I do things
But I'm going to stay in love
Going to keep loving those around me
I'm going to be the best version of myself
It will be difficult
I know this
But it is all worth it
I'm going to keep writing
I'm not going to listen to those who don't like my writings
Going to leave pain in the past
And not dwell on it
This is the challenge
I know this
I will have my days
But I have my writing to help
And hopefully help others cope
I am going to love my family extra
I am going to love myself extra
And learn how to love myself
I'm going to change for ME
I'm going to change who I am inside
Because that helps me change my appearance
I'm going to keep positive affirmations
Saying them over and over
And I'll believe them
I am beautiful
I am bright
I have a lovely smile
I am kind
I am the only me
And I shouldn't try to be who I'm not
I will not speak venom
I will not wish harm on anyone
I will not hate
I will change for the better
And we all should
We should all be the best versions of ourselves
We should always love
We should keep our dreams alive
And make them all come true
And make the world see that we're stronger than we feel
