You're Different
In a world of conformity, I stand apart,
A soul forged by life's fiery dart.
Different, they say, with both praise and scorn,
Yet in my uniqueness, I was born.

Impatient, short-tempered, flaws I own,
But resilience in my heart is sown.
Through trials and tears, I persevere,
Never surrendering to doubt or fear.

Sensitive, yes, but empathy I hold,
A kindness that shines, bright and bold.
Though words may fail, emotions deep,
In actions, my truth I always keep.

Heartbreaks not of love, but friendship's end,
Yet still, as a companion, I extend.
For why should pain dictate my course,
When friendship's bond is my true force?

Tears may fall, scars may mark my skin,
But from within, a light shines within.
For each battle fought, a lesson learned,
And in my flaws, resilience earned.

Grammatical errors may line my speech,
But each word echoes what I seek.
To express, to share, to connect with you,
In imperfect prose, my spirit true.

So farewell, pen, your ink now dry,
Yet within me, poetry will never die.
For in each moment, a verse I find,
In the tapestry of life, my poem aligned.
