The Edge
I was at the edge,
Right in front of the end
I stood
Looked at the void
And saw my dreams;
Being thrashed.
I closed my eyes
I was afraid to step ahead.
It's bright in here,
I don't know why-
Because it's not the way I thought it would be,
I don't know if I have reached the place
where I belong,
Neither do I know if I will ever reach the top-
The only thing I am proud of,
Is that I found the edge.
I was afraid, but I didn't stop.
