Open Wound
Everyday I painfully die,
Every moment difficult to live,
Your gifted pain is unbearable!
Today, it struck me harder,
I couldn't breathe, gasping for breath,
It all came back !
You ripped my heart out of my fragile body,
My mind knows you had changed,
My body is in excruciating pain,
Your wicked infidelity broke my heart,
But my faithful heart refuses
To come to terms with reality!
Tears drop like heavy rain,
Seep into the open wounds of my soul,
Burning and healing them,
But they still can't make me whole.
I can't smile anymore,
Love vacated my heart
For pain and sorrows to reside.
I loved you truly, I thought you do too.
I wanted your love,
But you changed me to an open wound!
