Maybe one day you will finally understand my pain
Somehow you might just fully know the extent of scars
You'll someday see the bleak world that I have lived in for years and walk the trails that have broken my spirit
In those moments you will feel my aches.... and give new meaning to walking in someone else's shoes
Let's see just how much of warrior you are, if you truly are as strong as you claim and strive to be
I dare you relive my nightmares and see the demons that haunt my every waking moment maybe you'll see my daydreams for the escape they are
Maybe if you bleed as I have you'll understand just how much blood is worth
Maybe you'll know pain the way I have
And when that happens I hope you hurt and break the way I have, not because I hate you but because I want you to feel it...every little crack in your spirit as the light slips out of you
I want you to weep rivers as I have and to lose days of sleep like me till you fail to recognize your own reflection as it stares you right in the eye
You have always been so quick to wound me so I hope that when you finally live my story..... you'll finally understand just how much you hurt me.
