"Shout Out!! To "AT EASE" Bar down in a small Colorado Town"... Most of us know. Some of us can wrap our mind around the thought. To pay the Devil his due, to fathom the terror of what those of them that know of what they bought. To stand on them yellow footprints, and have your mother say goodbye. To watch her child forever go away. Can't bear to see that Woman cry. For when the next time she see's your eyes, it'll be a Man. Before your father, proudly you stand. Shout out to the Marines, like my daddy I wanted to be. All you Sailors, my brother was to be. Shout out to my Cousin's, it was the Army that you said those lines that were printed on that wall. Air force fellas, you needed to guarantee those Beautiful Birds should never fall. This is the place, this is where we make our last stand. This Country we call America, the Land of the Free. I'm nobody to tell you how you should feel. But, I'll be damned if I stand by, and passively watch my wounds of today fester and heal. To ensure that our children learn the lessons we've been taught. What a damn dirty shame, this Country I feel my father would've thought. To be whipped into submission, as this Country is being fed. A mouthful of Bullshit, and a serving of Compliance is what is being said. Now, I may not be a scholar, and for damn sure not a Billionaire. I will tell you I'm an American, and proud to say it so. Next time you tell me that my kids need to bow down to your unjust Laws, you'll be the recipient of my thousand yard stare. For when it's time to call up my arms against the Tyranny, I'll tell my boys to step aside. Watch yer Ole' Man do his thing, and remember me with Pride. I, like Millions of Man will remember an oath we took. Just remember to bow your head to no Man, save only to the Good Book. Your Mamma and me, well... We ain't seen eye to eye. But just like I knelt down on one knee on front of your Grandparents. This last time I know she'll cry. I'll let our enemies give their life for their cause. Don't let my sacrifice give you an ounce of pause. These words you read, I hope the Good Lord gives me reprieve. And hoping the words I write are only my willingness to fight. Amen..
