Anger Burning Love
#WritcoPoemPrompt70
You took my pulse without ever touching me,
Like honey and flowers, you were my bumble-bee.
Like letters to a writer, you gave my words purpose.
Deep blue sea of possibilities, ranges of colors my sight had never seen.
The oil to my gears, the fuel kept this old motor runing.
Meaning to the meaningless, faith of the faithless, logic of the foolish.
The very essence of your love was the death of my so called personality. As the life of the kind world you showed me brought destruction and end to mine. Taking away every trace that described my name.
Showing color to my gray life. The moment you came into mine was the moment my old name died.
For the thought of you brings me blossoming joy, aroma of existance and beauty held in light.
As my life lost all meaning a new one was born with the word "us" intertwined.
Oh life. Beautiful and cursed life. Who am i to deserve such a soul. Who am i to have such a person by my side. As the corrupted heart stared into the new beginning.
For true love is felt within and not thought with your mind.
The foolish and faithless being did what it knew best. Manifesting itself with raging fire, taking every bit of life of anyone that crossed its path. Like any burning fire it ended. Consumed itself and left with nothing but remains of what it once was.
Love burning anger. Anger burning love.
