A Troubled Soul
A soul so worn, so lost and blue
Troubled thoughts, a heart anew
Pain and fear, a heavy load
A cry for help, a soul to hold
In the darkness deep, they search for light
A guiding hand, a beacon bright
A gentle voice, a listening ear
To calm the storm, to banish fear
Their heart is heavy, their spirit weak
A burden borne, a soul to seek
A refuge from the raging sea
A haven, a place to be free
Let love and care, a lifeline throw
A troubled soul, a heart to know
That they are not alone, nor lost
But seen, heard, and loved, at any cost
May help arrive, may hope to revive
A soul so worn, a heart alive
May peace descend, and may love to abide
And guide the troubled soul, to the other side.
