Some say we learn from our enemies
Yet we are also our greatest enemy
If that saying is true
How do we dare to do the same things again?
It's Insanity, expecting change
Breaking rules set in place again
Knowing trouble will be the same as last time
Never studying for a test, all because bad habit
And once again, you will fail
Or how about chasing the same person
After they broke you heart
It hurt you so terribly, did it not?
Love is like a dagger
You will only be stabbed if you give it to the wrong person
You cannot be blamed for an error in judgement
There's a first time for everything
But to allow yourself to do the same
To allow the same mistakes be made again
After the first couple times it's been made
It's pure idiocy, it's ridiculous
You will surely perish
And there is no coming back from it
But it's hard to blame a man so head over heels
For I was once just as you are
